BY BUS:

From Mexico City to Pochutla take the bus line called Estrella Blancavia Acapulco. There are first class and luxury seats that cost approximately 600/800 pesos per person, and the ride takes about 12 hours.

From Oaxaca to Pochutla, several different companies runvans that make the 6 hour trip. Between them, trips leave about every 15 minutes. The costis 120 pesos. The companies are all located just south of the Zocalo in Oaxaca. For reservations, trythe following:

From Pochutla to Zipolite there are collective taxis and private taxisthat will take you directly to the Villa Escondida, which is about 15 km away and takes about 20 minutes. ($8-10 USD private, $1-2 USD collective) We are located in Playa Zipolite, Colonia Lomas del Centro.

Leaving from Mexico City, there are two airports you can fly into that are both about an hour flight: Huatulco and Puerto Escondido. Both are about an hour's drive to Zipolite; Huatulco is a bit closer.The airlines are:

Mexicana
Interjet
Aerobus
Magnicharter

If you arrive in Huatulco, be aware that the airport taxis are very expensive. You can get significantly cheaper rides by walking out of theairport to the highway, where there are usually local cabs waiting. Collective taxis and buses also pass by headed to Pochutla (a private taxi costs 30-40 dollars and should be negotiated beforehand, buses and collectivos are around 2-4 dollars per person).

If you arrive in Puerto Escondido, you can get a collectivo taxi from the airport and stop at the bus stop for Pochutla, the closest city to Zipolite), or contract a private taxi to Zipolite for about 40-50 dollars. Negotiate before leaving.
